You’ll Want to Keep this Year

A new season, a new you, it’s time to take a look at our lives and decide what we want to do differently.

Well, all of us at NUXE want to help you look your beauty best and put your best face forward.

So… here are ours

Apply sunscreen at least 15 to 30 minutes before going outside to allow for absorption.

This is a no-brainer, and when used as part of a comprehensive sun protection program is one of the best ways to help keep your skin looking as healthy and youthful as possible !

Statistics reveal that individuals who drink more than five to six glasses of water a day are 40% less likely to suffer from heart-related problems. (1)

Tip, Water nourishes your cells, tissues, and organs – and guess what your biggest organ is? That’s right your skin! Staying properly hydrated can help fight some of the visible signs of dehydration, including dryness and wrinkling. So keep that water bottle to hand !

Optimum sleep requires in every 24hours for an adult = 7-9 hours (2)

It's called "beauty sleep" for a reason. While you're snoozing, your body takes the time to rejuvenate - including your skin cells. So stop with the all-nighters and start getting some sleep. Your skin will thank you for it in the long run. Adults between the ages of 25-64 should be aiming for 7-9 hours a night.

75% of the average consumer (25-50) doesn’t routinely finish their makeup. Not just before it expires, but at all.

Many of your make-up and creams may have expired. Do take the time to go through items and update as needed. Check what the shelf life of your products for their expiry dates, you may be surprised but most skincare products have a 6-month shelf life. (3)

Released by the Cancer Statistics Center, reveal estimated numbers of new cases in 2016 of so called “lifestyle” related cancers. They expect 76,380 new cases which 39% represent women. (4)

That bad habit you're still secretly doing? Well, it's time to stop it. Whether it's smoking, tanning, or overdyeing your hair, make the resolution to stop. Your future 2017 self will thank you.

Nuxe Skincare can help with its pioneering methods based on plant expertise and innovation.

Consider using more active Ingredients extracted from plants. In 2016 we are lucky to have many alternative products for our skin. We recommend looking to Mother Nature to help address our skincare concerns. (5)

Don’t forget your neck, chest and hands

It’s easy to remember to use your skin care products on your face – that’s what stares back at us in the mirror. But don’t forget to pay attention to your neck and chest too – they are often exposed to the same sun and environmental factors as your face. But your hands go through a lot every day! They also tend to show signs of aging, like sunspots and wrinkles. Keep them moisturized and covered in sunscreen daily. Protect them just as you would your face.

Invest and commit to a facial beauty routine. Take example on the UK that has the highest number of people (25%) who follow a 3-step (cleanse, tone and moisturize) facial skincare routine.

If you’re in your 20s, 30s, 40s, or beyond, now is always a great time to find a skin care routine that addresses the needs of your skin. You must invest not only your money but also your precious time - it’s all time well spent. If you know you won’t have the time or patience for more than 3 products in your routine, then work only with this. It always better to choose something that you’ll be more likely to stick with.

Here at NUXE we recommend the 3-step routine.

You could try: Micellar Cleansing Water + Nuxellence Eclat + Crème Prodigieuse. This performed every day will give you healthier glowing skin.

Smile more !

A smile is contagious; your smile spreads joy to others, which in turn makes you feel good. Each time you smile the feel-good neurotransmitters dopamine, endorphins and serotonin are all released together. This not only relaxes your body, but it can lower your heart rate and blood pressure. So this Year,

remember to laugh more

and smile often.
